About the book
Before the Toothache is a practical, patient-friendly guide to understanding dental problems before they become emergencies. It explains why dental problems can remain quiet in their early stages, how fear and delay can reduce treatment choices, and how timely prevention can protect oral health, confidence, time, money and peace of mind.
The book follows a simple message: dental care should not begin only when pain becomes unbearable. Through relatable explanations, the author discusses warning signs, routine check-ups, cleaning, small treatments, dental fear, hygiene, sterilization, choosing the right dentist, and making informed treatment decisions. It also explores how oral health can affect confidence, dignity and everyday life.
